To celebrate Germany’s 50th anniversary at the United Nations, the German Foreign Ministry invited us to create an exhibition at the UN headquarters in New York. Our exhibition design unfolded along a busy hallway, with one side designed as a ‘visual library’ in a continuous shelf design for which we curated a mix of statements, photos, SDG posters and a charming kaleidoscope of objects and give-aways symbolizing Germany‘s impact at the UN. This was paired with a relaxed lounge side featuring video screens, colorful Bauhaus stools, and indirect lighting in Germany and UN colors for a festive ambiance.
