C40, a global network of mayors of the world’s leading cities that are united in action to confront the climate crisis, invited us to create a video and related infographics to explain the concept of ‘climate budgeting’ to a general audience, with a focus on its principles, the process, and the outcomes. Our focus was to make the information easily digestible. No complicated language, no headscratchers. The design reflects directness, vibrant color palettes and scale change in typography to drive home the key messages, while simple graphic shapes convey meaning, reinforce clarity and emphasize key parts of the message.
